About Emmaus Youth
They said to each other, “Did not our hearts burn within us while he talked to us on the road, while he opened to us the scriptures?” – Luke 24:32
Emmaus Youth is a ministry with the goal of awakening the hearts of the young Church to the power & presence of God in their midst. The main way we bring this about is our Emmaus Youth Conference. This conference is a three day weekend experience to encounter God in a real & tangible way.
“There is no greater priority than this: to enable the people of our time once more to encounter God, the God who speaks to us and shares his love so that we might have life in abundance” – Pope Benedict XVI, Verbum Domini 2
This event is in collaboration with Bishop Dwenger High School and St. Vincent de Paul Parish, Fort Wayne. This event is also supported by the Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend. In the formation of this event, we have gathered leaders from the major parishes of the larger Fort Wayne area.
